I design and run custom one-shot adventures for Dungeons & Dragons, Kids on Bikes, and Daggerheart for all kinds of special events: birthdays, parties, first-time groups, school clubs, family game nights, and more.
Every game is built specifically for your group: your ages, experience levels, interests, comfort zones, and vibe. Whether you want epic fantasy, cozy mystery, spooky small-town horror, heartfelt storytelling, or chaotic fun, I create an experience where everyone feels welcome, included, and excited to play.
My sessions focus on:

🎲 Beginner-friendly guidance (I’m a teacher by day, so this is actually my favorite!)
🤝 Collaboration and confidence-building (If you have never played and you and your group are apprehensive, I have tools and exercises that can help! <3)
✨ Memorable “wow” moments players talk about long after the game ends (Defeat evil, get pets, the uszh)

Hi, I’m Maria
Your Friendly(mostly) Neighborhood Game Master!!
Hi! I’m Maria, and I’ve been a public school teacher for 20 years, a D&D player and Dungeon Master for over 10 years, and a full-time lover of storytelling, dice, and organized chaos basically since childhood. I have been immersed in fantasy and sci-fi and the gaming world since the early 90’s (Elder Millennial, hell yeah!!!)
I run a D&D club at the high school where I teach, which means I spend my days helping students find their voices, and my nights helping adventurers fight dragons, solve mysteries, and accidentally adopt NPCs or monsters (seriously, so many monster pets… have you heard of a Plague Dog? We have one, his name is Lavender).
I’ve also had the joy of running games professionally in local game stores, at private events, and at conventions like PAX East.
I create custom one-shots for Dungeons & Dragons, Kids on Bikes, and Daggerheart for birthdays, parties, new groups, kids’ groups, and anyone who wants a one-of-a-kind adventure. I love GMing both in person and virtually, and I work hard to make every table welcoming, inclusive, beginner-friendly, and full of big “WOW” moments. (see above)
Fair warning: I have an unhealthy (but impressive) addiction to making maps and hunting down gorgeous graphics from incredibly talented real-world artists. (Because GenAI art is absolute shit) If there’s a way to make a game more immersive, emotional, or magical, I will absolutely find it.
My tables are full of laughter, feelings, found family, dramatic dice rolls, and people realizing, “Wait… I’m actually really good at this.”
